Entire nation rallies behind PM in fight against Corona: Shah

New Delhi, Jun 28 (UNI) Indication a common strategy soon to tackle Corona crisis in Delhi NCR region, Union Home Minister on Sunday said that Modi Government has been handling the Covid situation very appropriately and the situation in Delhi is under control and the entire nation has rallied behind in fight against Coronavirus
Assuring people of Delhi that there was no community spread and there was no reason to worry, he said that Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s statement that by July end, the Covid infected population in capital Delhi would rise to 5.5 lakh, had caused anxiety among the people of Delhi and after that the Centre stepped in to coordinate the efforts to contain the Covid situation here..
Detailing the Centre’s efforts, Mr Shah said that after the June 14 meeting convened by him, a slew of measures were taken such as substantial increase in number of testing, re-defining the containment zones and fixing the treatment rate in private hospitals by an expert committee headed by Dr VK Paul of NITI Aayog.
