New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Noted poet and lyricist Rahat Indori passed away following a cardiac arrest in Indore on Tuesday evening.
Indori's burial will take place around 2130 hours tonight a the Chhoti Khajrani Qabristan Indore. His family has urged people to offer prayers from home.
Indori had been admitted to Aurobindo Hospital in Indore after testing positive for COVID.
His family informed that Rahat Sahab passed away due to a cardiac arrest this evening at 1700 hours.
'Pray for his final journey,' the family tweeted. "His funeral will take place at 2130 hours at the Chhoti Khajrani Qabristan Indore, We urge everyone to pray from Home.'
It was informed through his twitter account regarding his test coming positive on Monday after it was done as he had symptoms of the disease.
