Ensure Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital is operational by November: Punjab CS to all stakeholders

Chandigarh, Aug 29 (UNI) Punjab Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan on Sunday asked all the stakeholders of the upcoming Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre at New Chandigarh (Mohali) to ensure that the ultra-modern cancer tertiary care facility is made operational by November, this year.
Ms Mahajan's comments came while reviewing the progress of the prestigious project that is slated to come up in the vicinity of Chandigarh PGIMER.
It was decided at the meeting that all pending works in C-wing shall be completed before September 15 in order to enable the installation of radiology equipment at the earliest.
