Port Blair, Aug 09 (UNI) Just one day before the launch of Chennai – Andaman and Nicobar Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Cable project in Andaman Islands, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with the BJP leaders and workers of A & N Islands through video conferencing and urged them to ensure that government’s developmental schemes reach every person in their territory.

“The schemes of the Central Government have reached effectively in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In future people will be able to travel to Swaraj Dweep, Shaheed Dweep and Long Island by Sea Plane. Higher Education Institutions have been opened in Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the benefit of the Island students,” he said while addressing the party workers.
