ENG vs WI, 2nd Test: Rain delays toss

ENG vs WI, 2nd Test: Rain delays toss

Manchester, Jul 16 (UNI) The toss for the second Test match between England and West Indies was delayed on Thursday due to rain and wet conditions at the Old Trafford.

The first Test match marked the re-start of international cricket following the enforced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic and West Indies put in an all-round performance to go 1-0 up in Southampton.

There was an inspection by both the umpires but no clear word yet on when play could start.

England cricket team will try to find winning momentum with the return of regular captain Joe Root, at the Old Trafford.

West Indies are expected to go in unchanged and will have a great chance to win a series in England after a gap of three decades.
