Srinagar, Jan 19 (UNI) Employees of various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) on Tuesday protested in the summer capital, Srinagar, and demanded wages pending from last several months.
Scores of employees assembled at Press Enclave in the city, under the banner of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation, alleging that they have not been paid wages from last several months. “We have not been paid salaries from last several months due to which we and our families are on the verge of starvation,” the protestors told reporters.
