Eminent social worker demands MPLAD fund from Giriraj for unfurling highest tricolour in Begusarai

Begusarai, Aug 14 (UNI) Eminent social worker and activist Ajay Kumar, mobilising the people and also seeking cooperation from local administration since long to realise his dream of unfurling highest tricolour of Bihar in Begusarai, the land of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, today demanded from Union Minister Giriraj Singh to provide money from his MP Local Area Development (MPLAD) fund for this great feat.
Mr Kumar said that he had dreamt long back for unfurling the highest tricolour in
Begusarai, the birthplace of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar and several other personalities whose contribution to the nation would be remembered for long. A massive campaign was on for the last several months to mobilise the people and also seeking cooperation from the local administration to realise this great dream, he added.
The eminent social worker said that he had approached local administration for its approval to move ahead for the dream project but it did not materialise for one reason or the other. He demanded from Union Minister Giriraj Singh to sanction sufficient sum from his MPLAD fund for realising the dream of unfurling highest tricolour in Begusarai.
Mr Kumar profusely appreciated Union Minister Mr Singh and assured him that he would do his best to protect the pride of this great land of Begusarai from where the nation got excellent talents in all sectors including freedom movement, literature, bureaucracy, politics and social service. He exuded his confidence that people of Begusarai would continue to get blessings from Union Minister Mr Singh who got elected from this Lok Sabha seat in the recently held parliamentary election.
The eminent social activist felt that the dream of unfurling highest tricolour in Begusarai would be a reality on January 26 next year if things moved in the right direction. It would be a great day for the people of Begusarai and Bihar if, with cooperation from all, the great dream was realised, he remarked.
