Eminent author, columnist Manorama Mohapatra passes away

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18 (UNI) Eminent author, orator,columnist and former editor of Odia daily "Samaj" Manorama Mohapatra died while undergoing treatment in SCB medical college and hospital at Cuttack today. She was 87.
Family sources said she was admitted to the hospital after she complained of chest pain and passed away while undergoing treatment.
Born on June 10, 1934 at Athagarh in Cuttack district, Manorama Mohapatra has authored over 40 books and has been honoured with several awards.
