Amaravati, Sep 18 (UNI) The eligible poor in Andhra Pradesh will get free medical treatment under Aarogyasri scheme in 150 superspecialty hospitals in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai from November 1.
An expert committee, led by Dr. Sujatha Rao, submitted its report with 100 recommendations to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on “reforms in health sector”, which include “barring” the government doctors from private practice.
Mr Reddy held a review meeting with health department officials at his Camp office in Tadepalli near here on Wednesday.
