Eleventh Voters’ Day Observed in CEO Sikkim office

Gangtok, Jan 25 (UNI) Chief Electoral Officer, Sikkim addressing the gathering at 11th National Voters Day hosted by his office, said here on Monday, ‘There are many people here who cant access the facilities offered. Also outreached those whose names have been missing.
We have been reaching the unreachable Voters. now a days there is no need to rush to Election Office for Voters Card,everything is accessible on line.Aadhar Cards can also be submitted online.But in case of mistake or doubt for verification only physical presence of the Voter is required.On can download e-EPPICard.Precautions have been taken to ensure no ineligible person’s name is included.He said the young Voters should take Voting as their responsibility.They should not be induced by Anything.They should understand the importance of Voters day observed commemorating the constitution of Election Commission of India,on the eve of 1st Republic Day.
CEO R Telang,said training would be imparted to Block Level Officers and others.Some have attended last time,so for them Reorientation Courses would be conducted.He felicitated BLOs and some of the First Time Voters.
