Aurangabad, Oct 20 (UNI) Aurangabad District Collector Sunil Chavan has appealed to the electric vehicle manufacturing industries to invest in Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) as there is a huge demand for electric vehicles in the market at present.
While speaking in a seminar organized by Taytra in Taiwan at Hotel Taj last night he said that, Many industries have flourished in the Aurangabad area due to the availability of complementary infrastructure to the industry.
Entrepreneurs including Welberg Wang, Director of Tayatra, Mrs. Chi, Secretary of Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ahmani, Harjeet Gulati, Tayatra office bearers, Raman Azgavkar, Ravindra Kondekar, Shridhar Velangi, Shrikant Joshi, office bearers of Aurangabad Business Development Cluster were present on the occasion.
Mr Chavan said that Aurangabad district has a conducive environment for the growth of industry. Many countries of the world have invested in Auric City and preferred Aurangabad.
Formoso, a Taiwanese commercial electrical vehicle manufacturer, and Ahmani, a two-wheeler manufacturer, should take the lead in investing in Auric City, Aurangabad.
The trained manpower and other facilities required to start this industry will be provided.
As Aurangabad is connected to major cities by air, rail and road, the industry will get better connectivity,he pointed out.
He also said that as there is a huge demand for automobile industries in the district, there is an opportunity for Taiwanese Formoso and Ahmani to invest in Aurangabad, he added.
