Elected legislators entrust Rahul with power to finalise leader

Raipur, Dec 12 (UNI) Newly elected legislators of Congress which came to power with more than two third majority in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday entrusted Congress National President Rahul Gandhi with the power to finalise name of leader of party’s legislators team, at a meeting.
A resolution to this effect was passed in presence of Central Observer Mallikarjun Kharge, party’s state in-charge PL Punia, in-charge secretary Dr Chandan Yadav and Arun Uraon, at a meeting of newly elected legislators held at city hotel. He will hand over this resolution to Gandhi and subsequently the name is likely to be announced in a day or two.
Kharge consulted newly elected MLAs for the name of Chief Minister and inquired about their choice of chief ministerial face.
