EGM, AGM of Kannur International Airport Limited held at Sadhoo Auditorium

Kannur, Jan 19 (UNI) The 13th Extraordinary General meeting (EGM) and 9th Adjourned General meeting (AGM) of Kannur International Airport Limited (KIAL) was held at Sadhoo Auditorium here on Saturday.
It was chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who is also the Chairman of KIAL.
Around thousand share holders and Director Board members including Ministers E P Jayarajan, E Chandra Sekharan, Ramachandran Kadannappally, K K Shailaja and A K Saseedharan, and directors Dr Hassan Kunji, BPCL nominee G Ananthakrishnan also attended.
The Extraordinary General Meeting transacted Dr Hassan Kunji and Minister EP Jayarajan as directors from additional directors.The share capital was increased from 1500 crores to 3500 crores.The meeting also saw the amendment of clause 5 of the memorandum of association.
The Adjourned Annual General Meeting considered approval of the annual report for Financial Year ( FY) 17-18 and appointment of Deloitte as statutory Auditor FY’18-19. All the stakeholders physically present voted through ballot.
E-voting was made available for shareholders who couldn’t attend. Scrutinizes of the voting process were present and will submit report of both the voting to the Chairman, Kannur Airport. The results will be published in the official website of the airport.
The Chairman and the Managing Directorof the airport answered all the queries raised by shareholders. The vote of thanks was given by the KIAL Managing Director V Thulasi Das.
