EduGorilla launches bilingual app for competitive exams preparation

Lucknow, Aug 3 (UNI) Lucknow-based education start-up EduGorilla has launched an app titled ‘EduGorilla’, a one-stop solution that helps students to prepare over 450 competitive examinations.

The app named ‘EduGorilla’, available in both English and Hindi, will help students to learn on the go and assess their expertise on different topics.

The app caters to various examinations ranging from banking to engineering, medical, railways and so on. It comprises sectional divisions to help the students grasp every topic with accuracy. It allows students to take mock tests and assess their performance according to All- India and State ranks generated by the app. Previous year’s question papers are also available for various examinations.

Mr Rohit Manglik, CEO, EduGorilla said in a statement here on Saturday that the launch of the app marks a milestone for the company.

"The app is a one-stop solution for students appearing for competitive examinations. While there are umpteen educational platforms covering the ‘popular’ career options such as IIT-JEE and NEET, there is a dearth of guidance for unconventional careers. Not many have even heard of exams like Lekhpal, KVIC, and SPMCIL, let alone the availability of study material and mock tests for these examinations,” he said.

“There is a dearth of the well-conceptualized and relevant study material for competitive examinations in vernacular languages and the subject matter available in the name of the curriculum and tests is a mere translation of the English content. The Hindi version of EduGorilla App is the attempt to reach out to the wider section of the student community,” he added.

The app leverages emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning- optimized infrastructure to create an ideal learning platform for students. This state-of-the-art implementation brings about a rapid learning pace for students and auto-tunes itself based on the students’ preparedness.

One of the instances of its direct implementations is in “Auto-Test Generation” where the system generates new tests based on a student’s previous performance to get him the cutting -edge on his strong areas as well as a stronger hold on the weaker ones.

EduGorilla aims to launch educational apps and test series in ten official languages of India i.e. Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia and Punjabi in the long run.

EduGorilla had earlier launched a comprehensive and innovative test series catering to over 20 categories of competitive examinations. It also has the largest directory listing of more than 60,000 coaching institutes and 840,000+ schools across 100+ cities.
