Education fundamental necessity for all-round development of society : Dr Tanwar

Chandigarh, Dec 8 (UNI) Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Ashok Tanwar has said that for the all round development of the society, extension of education is fundamental and the Congress party has given prominence to this and established institutions like ITTs, IIMs and AIIMS so that the country continues to make strides in progress.
Speaking in the annual awards distribution function in Bhiwani Public School at Talu village on Saturday, Dr Tanwar said that if proper education is given from the primary stage, the children get balanced development and they become responsible citizens to serve the country. He expressed shock that the BJP government has ignored the development of educational institutions which has resulted in lowering the standard of education. Due to this deficiency a tendency of carelessness has started developing in the students which brings indiscipline in its wake.
He said that due to autocratic orders of the Khattar Government, the teachers have been forced to resort to agitation. BJP in place of giving proper respect to the teaching community, has made them face the lathis of the police.
