Education Dept in Goa issues circular asking schools to create awareness among students about 'Tik Tok', 'Pub G'

Panaji, Jun 20 (UNI) Education Department in Goa on Thursday issued a circular to all schools in the state asking for creating awareness among students about online games and apps like 'Tik Tok' and 'Pub G'.
In the circular released, Education Director Nagaraj Honnekeri has said that as per the recommendations of the Chairperson, Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Goa State, the awareness needed to be created among the parents, guardians and the children in order not to download or use 'Tik Tok' App and 'Pub G' game.
''Both the above app and games create issue of safety and security of children in the state of Goa. You are hereby informed to create awareness among the students of your school as well as their parents by calling for meeting,'' he said, adding the action in time may be of great help in saving some lives.
