New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Enforcement Directorate(ED) on Thursday issued a fresh notice to diamond trader Nirav Modi to present himself before the agency on February 26, in connection with the Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam, a top source said here on Friday.
The notice has been served through e-mail.
This is the second notice by ED to the beleaguered businessman, asking him to join the investigation. The first was issued on February 20 but he did not turn up.
Modi is alleged to have siphoned off Rs 11,300 crore from the PNB and left India well before the bank lodged a complaint with the Central Bureau of Investigation and ED.
