ED officials detain five bank officers after complete two days of raid on district bank

Kolhapur, Feb 2 (UNI) After two days of continued raids on main office of Kolhapur District Central Cooperative Bank(KDCCB) in Shahupuri area and it's Senapati-Kapashi branch in Kagal tehsil of this district by Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers, which began yesterday, five bank officers were detained after detailed investigation and also took some important documents.
Earlier ED officials had raided the residents of former minister Hasan Mushrif and his close associate Prakash Gadekar, along with at offices of Mushrif in Pune district, on January 11, ED officials yesterday raided KDCCB' main office, which bank's chairman is Mr Mushrif, and continued its investigation today also and finally detained five bank officials for further investigation and seized some important documents. ED officials took away all of them to Mumbai this evening.
With detaining bank officers, difficulty to arise before former minister Mr Mushrif, who had charged by Bhartiya Janata party leader Kirit Somayya in the case of of alleged corruption in Appasaheb Nalavade cooperative sugar factory of this district.
