ECoR records over 84 pc online railway ticket bookings

Bhubaneswar, Dec 15 (UNI) East Coast Railway (ECoR) has recorded 84.11 percent of ticket bookings through online platforms, while Khurda Road Division achieved 82.71 percent online bookings, with the remaining tickets booked through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters.
An analysis of the last eight months, from April 1 to November 30, 2025, shows that the trend of online booking remains consistently strong.
During this period, Indian Railways registered 84.54 percent online ticketing, while ECoR closely followed with 84.40 percent. Khurda Road Division also maintained a high share of internet bookings at 82.94 percent, highlighting a sustained shift towards digital and paperless ticketing across all levels.
