East Godavari SP presents breath analysers to 20 SHO

Kakinada, July 12 (UNI) As part of the campaign against drunk driving and to bring down the road accident rate, East Godavari SP Vishal Gunni presented breath analysers to Station House Officers of 20 police stations situated in vulnerable areas, during a function held at the district police office here on Thursday.
He advised the police officers concerned to strive for minimising the road accidents by regular screening of
vehicle drivers and book those, detected as driving the vehicles in an inebriated state.
He also advised the officers to ensure helmet wearing by two-wheeler drivers, creating awareness among them.
Breath analysers would be supplied soon to all police stations in the district in a phased programme, Mr Gunni added.

Admin SP Ravisankara Reddy, Special branch DSPs Vijayabhaskara reddy, Sunkara Muralimohan and DCRB Inspector Rajarao attended the event.
