East Godavari police create new record by filing charge sheet within five days in POCSO case

Kakinada, Oct 24 (UNI) The East Godavari police have proved its efficiency and commitment in investigation of cases by filing the charge sheet within five days of the registration of the FIR under the POCSO act, police said on Saturday.
The heinous crime took place in Chinnayyapalem hamlet of Jaddangi village of Rajavommangi mandal in the agency area on October 18 .
The accused Thedla Srinu (38), resident of Chaitanya Nagar colony, Jaddangi village, went to the house of the victim girl (7) on the fateful day, being a distant relative and took the victim along with her younger sister convincing their mother that he would send them back giving biscuits and snacks. Trusting him the mother allowed them to accompany him.
