Earthquake of 2.8 magnitude hits HP's Mandi

Shimla, Sep 24 (UNI) (UNI) An earthquake of magnitude 2.8 on the Richter scale struck near Mandi town of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.
Indian Meterogical Department spokesperson said in a release that the Earthquake was recorded at 0452 hours at Latitude of 31.60 North and longitude of 77.09 East and four km depth near Mandi town about 65 kilometers away from the state capital Shimla.
There was no report of any loss of life and property, the release added.
