e-Way Bill system roll out in 6 more states from Apr 20

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) e-Way Bill system for intra-State movement of goods will be implemented in six more states from April 20 this year.
The states include Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura and Uttarakhand.
With the roll-out of e-Way Bill system in these States, it is expected that trade and industry will be further facilitated in so far as the transport of goods is concerned.
It will eventually pave the way for a nation-wide single e-Way Bill system, Finance Ministry said on Wednesday.
As per the decision of the GST Council, e-Way Bill system for all inter-State movement of goods has been rolled out from April 1 this month. As on April 15, e-Way Bill system has been rolled out in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.
