E-office system to be launched soon at tehsil-level departments: Nanded collector

Nanded, Sep 21 (UNI) Observing “the outbreak of coronavirus has adversely affected the functioning of various government offices”, collector Dr Vipin Itankar informed on Monday that to tackle the situation, the e-office system will be launched soon by the district administration so that the officers and employees of the department will not be affected by the coronavirus.
Addressing a meeting of the heads of various departments in the district through video conference, he said, “While doing government work, the files related to that work go for the approval of many concerned departments. If the head of the concerned department is on leave, the non-attendance may cause an undue interruption in government work. In case of non-compliance, if the file is sent in digital format, it will be possible to immediately approve the case with the outgoing number.”
Considering this at the government level, now the e-office system is being connected with the tehsil-level departments and planning is being done for immediate disposal, he added.
