E-Court Fee System set to be launched in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Mar 22 (UNI) Chandigarh Administration has taken "Ease of doing business" a notch higher by enabling the citizens of Chandigarh to pay Judicial Stamp Duty from the convenience of their home.
The e-Court fee system is set to be launched in the Union Territory of Chandigarh, which will enable a citizen to pay Judicial Stamp Duty levied on court cases.
The service is a computer based application and a secured electronic way of paying the judicial stamp duty. This would replace the prevailing system of physical stamps in the city in a phased manner.
