Dy Chief Minister opens 63rd Nat School Games in Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 3 (UNI) Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday inaugurated the 63rd National School Games 2017-18 at the Chhatrasal Stadium here.
Secretary (Education) Puniya S Srivastava, Director (Education) Garima Gupta and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
The Directorate of Education has organized the 63rd National School Games at different venues in the national capital from January 3 to 9. The Games are being attended by more than 8000 school children & officials from different States & UTs.
Speaking On this occasion, Sisodia said that Delhi Govt will promote the sports activities in all the Govt Schools in Delhi in order to ensure the overall personality development of the School Children. He said that Delhi govt has formulated a scheme under which govt. will provide free sports coaching to the children of Delhi Govt. Schools.
