Durga Shakti Rapid Action Force in Haryana gets vehicle booster to check eve teasing incidents

Chandigarh, July 12 (UNI) Women Police Stations in Haryana got a boost with the addition of 50 new vehicles as Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar flagged off these vehicles during the Ek Aur Sudhar programme, organised on women safety and empowerment in Panchkula, on Thursday.
Stating this here, Director General of Police BS Sandhu said these vehicles have been allotted to 'Durga Shakti Rapid Action Force,' to check the incidents of eve teasing and other crimes related to women and girls in the state.
He also thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning funds for the purchase of these new vehicles for Women Police Stations. These vehicles will exclusively work for the safety of women.
