Drug peddlers held with 15-kg charas in Udhampur

Jammu, Nov 4 (UNI) Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers with contraband of charas in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A police party of Police Station Udhampur led by Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary while conducting surprise checking of vehicles on National Highway at Jakhani Chowk, Udhampur, intercepted one taxi, SSP Udhampur, Rajiv Pandey here said.
He added that during search, 15kg of charas (opium) was recovered from the possession of two narcotic smugglers identified as Bilal Ahmed and Rahil Aziz, both residents of Hazrathbal, Srinagar.
