Draft electoral rolls for Bengal, Rajasthan, Goa, Puducherry, Lakshadweep to be published tomorrow

New Delhi, Dec 15 (UNI) The draft electoral rolls for West Bengal, Rajasthan, Goa, Puducherry, and Lakshadweep are set to be officially published on Tuesday, December 16, a senior official from the Election Commission (EC) announced on Monday.
The publication marks a critical step in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, an exercise undertaken by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to ensure that voter lists are accurate, up-to-date, and inclusive ahead of upcoming elections.
The poll body has put in place a mechanism to ensure wide access to the draft rolls for both the public and political stakeholders.
