Dr Vijay Tomar won 'Alexander von Humboldt' scholarship

Chandigarh, Jan 15 (UNI) Dr Vijay Tomar, a researcher of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, has bagged four scholarships from reputed international universities including distinguished scholarship of Germany ‘Alexander von Humboldt’ for carrying out high level research.
He would carry out his research in Kiel University of Germany for two years.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of the university said the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, had congratulated Dr Tomar for his achievement and prayed for his bright future. He urged researchers of the university to carry out research in such subjects as are environment-friendly and beneficial for the society which could raise the living standard of people.
