Dr Gorhe emphasises need to inform public about govt's drought measures

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Feb 24 (UNI) Deputy Speaker Neelam Gorhe has instructed the district administration to involve social charitable organisations in relief and rehabilitation efforts while implementing drought measures.
Dr Gorhe addressed a review meeting on drought measures at Subedari guest house on Saturday.
''The district and division are facing a severe drought that is expected to worsen until May and June. The government is implementing measures to combat the situation,'' she said.
