Double Murder: Chennithala calls off marriage reception of his son

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 20 (UNI) Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Wednesday said his family has decided to call off the marriage reception of his son in the wake of Youth Congress activists murder in Kasargod district on Sunday night.
"The saved sum in this regard will be spent for the marriage of the sister of Youth Congress activist Kripesh, who was hacked to death allegedly by CPI(M) men," Mr Chennithala said.
"In this time of grief and despair when the party had lost two of its sons to CPI-M terror, we have decided to call off the marriage reception of my son at Trivandrum and Haripad. The saved sum would be used towards the marriage of Kripesh's sister. We are bound to fullfil Kripesh's ambitions," Chennithala said in a message.
