Don't mislead nation by talking about 'black magic': Rahul

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched an attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his "black magic" retort, and said the government is trying to hide its own exploits.
"Can the Prime Minister not see price rise, unemployment?" Rahul Gandhi asked in a tweet in Hindi.
"Mr. Prime Minister, stop lowering the dignity of the post of PM and misleading the nation by talking about superstitious things like "black magic" to hide your own black deeds," Rahul Gandhi said.
"You will have to answer on the issues of the people," he added.
Congress on Thursday announced the next round of protests against price rise, including “Mehangai Chaupal” in all assembly constituencies from August 17 to 23, and a rally on August 28 at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan.
On August 5, Congress leaders held protests across the country at several locations. In Delhi, Congress MPs, dressed in black, protested at Parliament and attempted a march to Rashtrapati Bhawan led by party leader Rahul Gandhi. Congress MPs were detained at Vijay Chowk.
Another protest was held at the party headquarters here which was led by Priyanka Gandhi and other senior leaders, who were detained outside the Congress office.
Addressing a function in Panipat via video-conferencing to dedicate a second-generation ethanol plant, in an apparent dig at Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said "On August 5, we saw how some people tried to spread 'black magic'."
