New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) The domestic airlines carried 657.21 lakh passengers during January-July, 2017, as against 560.87 lakh during the corresponding period last year, registering a growth of 17.18 per cent. According to the data released by various airlines, the overall cancellation rate of scheduled domestic airlines for July stood at 0.79 per cent. During July 2017, a total of 678 passenger related complaints were received by domestic airlines, while the number of complaints per 10,000 passengers has been around 0.71. Air India registered highest 1.7 complaints per 10,000 passengers, followed by Jet Airways and Jetlite 1.3, GoAir 0.9, Truejet 0.7, Spicejet 0.5, Air Asia 0.3, Vistara 0.3 and IndiGo 0.2. Zoom Air did not receive any complaint or rather, achieved 100 per cent passenger satisfaction in July. The On-Time Performance (OTP) of scheduled domestic airlines was computed for four metro airports, that is Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. IndiGo registered the highest OTP of 84.6, followed by Go Air 78.2, Vistara 74.5, Spicejet 73.4, Air India (domestic) 65.5 and Jet Airways and Jet Lite, which recorded the lowest OTP of 64.2.
