Toronto, Sep 12 (UNI) A new documentary on yoga guru Bikram Choudhury, who rose to fame in the United States through his Bikram yoga studios, reveals the dark side of the Indian immigrant's phenomenal success.
'Bikram: Yogi, Guru, Predator', which had its world premiere at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival earlier this week, chronicles the rise and fall of the yoga guru, who introduced his hot yoga practice in Angeles in the 70s.
Directed by Australian-born filmmaker Eva Orner, the film also documents accusations of sexual harassment by many of his followers against Choudhury, who built an empire of Bikram studios in the United States after arriving from Kolkata.
