Doctors, paramedics hold protest in south Kashmir against use of pellet guns

Srinagar, Aug 22 (UNI) Doctors and paramedical staff of Government District Hospital Pulwama today held a protest against alleged attacks on ambulance drivers and use of pellet guns by security forces since July 9, a day after Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani and two other militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Anantnag.
Shouting ‘pro-freedom’ and 'anti-forces' slogans, scores of doctors and paramedical staff held demonstration outside the premise of Government District Hospital Pulwama in solidarity with patients who have lost their vision to the pellet injuries.
