Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 25 2016 2:21PM DMK urge govt to ensure MBBS admission on basis of NEET ResultPuducherry, Aug 25 (UNI) DMK (North) Convenor S P Sivakumar today urged the government to ensure that the admission into MBBS in private medical colleges be taken up on the basis of the NEET result and under its supervision. In a statement here, Mr.Sivakumar said as many as 717 MBBS seats and 205 BDS seats need to be filled up on the basis of the NEET result. He said the announcement of Chief Minister that immediate steps be taken in consultation with the health minister and officials and also that the rank list be obtained from the CBSC and published in the web site of the health department need to be welcomed. However,confusion still prevails as the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry failed to give a proper guidelines in the admission issue.
