DMK MLA accuses TN govt of fudging data on coronavirus

Madurai, Aug 5 (UNI) DMK MLA P T R Palanivel Thiagarajan on Wednesday accused the Tamil Nadu government of fudging data on coronavirus, particularly the virus-related deaths.
Talking to the media here, he said the state government acts in an irresponsible manner and was betraying the people by providing inadequate, inconsistent and reduced data.
He alleged that the health department was fudging the numbers as data collated from crematoriums in Madurai shows the deaths were much higher than official figures.
