DMA’s cleanliness drive generates Rs 41.64 Cr, frees 2.7 lakh sq ft space

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) The fifth edition of the special campaign of cleanliness was carried out by the Department of Military Affairs (DMA) and all establishments recently.
In a statement issued here today, the Ministry of Defence stated that in the campaign, which concluded last month, the armed forces and Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQIDS) contributed in full measure towards organising cleanliness campaign within posts, units, stations, establishments, cantonments as part of the Campaign and minimising pending matters.
Apart from cleanliness activities, considerable effort was made to reduce pendency in public grievances, MP, PMO and state government references, appeals and parliamentary assurances.
