DM bans entry of private person to headworks of canal

Sri Muktsar Sahib, Nov 29 (UNI) District Magistrate M K Aravind Kumar has banned the entry of private persons to four major head-works of canals with in the jurisdiction of Sri Muktsar Sahib District.
While exercising his power under section 144 of CRPC, Mr Kumar passed a special order to ban the entry of non governmental personal to Thandewala Headwoks and Head works of Abohar branch at Bhullarwala both of Sarhind Feeder canal along with Sotha head works of Abohar branch and Jhheendwala head works at Mahabadhar of Arniwala distributary with immediate effect and strict action will be taken against the violators.
This order was passed because in past some unauthorised persons illegally and forcefully tried to enter to these head-works to open the gate of these to release water in their canals.
