Kolkata, June 16 (UNI) Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee was quizzed for six and half hours by the West Bengal police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) sleuths on Tuesday, marking the fourth session of grilling faced by the Diamond Harbour MP over the past six days on various charges from Central and state agencies.

Imphal, July 11 UNI : A few abandoned houses of residents belonging to the Meitei community near a security encampment at a village in Imphal West district were burnt on Saturday by a mob of Kuki miscreants evoking wide spread condemnations.
Two persons were apprehended for their alleged involvement in the incident, inviting condemnation from Chief Minister Y Khemchand, his predecessor N Biren and others.
