District should set up 'Team 11' to deal with Communicable diseases in UP: Yogi

Gorakhpur, Jul 6(UNI) Asking different departments to coordinate to fight against the communicable diseases, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the need of the hour is to protect the vulnerable population against diseases like Japanese Encephalitis (JE) and AES. He asked district officials to prepare a Team 11, like the team at state level, which is monitoring Covid -19.
“A better coordination can lead to a better team work which in turn can help us to fight communicable diseases which are quite prevalent during monsoon,” Yogi said during a review meeting of Gorakhpur and Basti divisions in BRD Medical College here on Monday.
He asked the officers to make a micro-plan to fight Covid 19 as well as communicable diseases. The District Magistrates should review the meeting regularly, CM said.
