District's youth, Utkarsh Chavan, selected for World Special Olympic Power Lifting Competition

Kolhapur, Sep 26 (UNI) Power lifter Utkarsh Uttam Chavan of Pirwadi village in Karmveer tehsil of this district has been selected for the World Special Olympic Power Lifting Competition in the 83 kg group, which will be held from November 17 at Luthaniya in Europe.
Utkarsha has been selected for his remarkable performance in the national competition at Kashipur in Uttarakhand, in which he won a silver medal in the 83 kg group.
Senior coaches Bibhishan Patil, Sanjay Sardesai,Dr Prashant Patil guided Utkarsh.
