Diaspora journalists denounce anti-India propaganda

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Senior representatives of the Indian media and civil society have emphasized the need for diaspora to correct the narrative as India undertakes landmark reforms across sectors.
“The role which the diaspora media can play in the current situation is the propaganda against India in some countries, particularly the hate speech against the Indian leadership”, experts opined during an interactive session organized by UNI in collaboration with PIO TV highlighting the role of Indian Diaspora media in enhancing India’s soft power.
The session was a follow on to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) celebrations that were held on January 9. PBD is celebrated to recognise the contributions of the overseas Indian community towards the growth and development of the country.
