Dhoni takes 2-month break to serve paramilitary regiment ahead of Windies tour: Reports

New Delhi, Jul 20 (UNI) According to reports, former India captain M S Dhoni has conveyed to BCCI that he will be taking two-month break to join Parachute Regiment of Territorial Army, ahead of Selection Committee meet in Mumbai on Sunday to pick India squad for the West Indies tour starting from August 3 to September 3.
Dhoni is an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army.
There was speculation that wicket-keeper batsman might announce retirement after World Cup, but so far there is no word from Dhoni himself and has told BCCI that he will take a two-month sabbatical from the game to serve his paramilitary regiment.
