Pune, Oct 27 (UNI) Former captain and wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni has been kept out of India's T201 squads against the Windies and upcoming Australia T20 series, MSK Prasad-led selection panel announced here late on Friday.
Instead Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik were the obvious choice as wicketkeeping options by the selection panel.
Apart from 93 T201s played so far, Dhoni has made 1487 runs with 87 dismissals behind the stumps, and also been instrumental for lifting the title in the inaugural edition of the World T20 in 2007.
