Dhanbad, Oct 9 (UNI) A local court convicted and awarded a punishment of 18 months to Baghmara MLA of the BJP Dhullu Mahto in a case related to obstructing government work and manhandling a police officer.
The court of sub-divisonal judicial magistrate Sikha Aggarwal awarded a punishment of 18 months to the MLA however the punishment will ensure that the MLA will not loose the membership of the house and will be also eligible to contest the assembly polls.
On May 13, 2013 the team of the Barora Police Station had caught one Rajesh Gupta against whom a warrant was issued from his house located at Nichitpur.
