DGP sanctions medical relief in favour of NoK, SPO martyrs

Srinagar, Sep 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dibagh Singh on Monday sanctioned Rs 12 lakh medical and welfare relief in favour of Special Operation Group (SOG) and Next of Kin (NoK) of martyrs.
A police spokesman said that continuing with its endeavour to provide succor to the NoKs of martyrs, SPOs in the time of need, the DGP Singh has sanctioned financial assistance, medical relief over Rs 11.60 lakh in favour of 40 SPOs and welfare relief of Rs 90 thousand in favour of NoK’s of martyred police personnel.
The assistance provided has been sanctioned out of SPOs Contributory Fund and Police Pariwar fund ranges from Rs ten thousand to Rs fifty thousand.
