New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the Karnataka High Court order issuing non-bailable warrants against the state DGP, IGP in a service case.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, stayed the operation of the High Court order while hearing a plea filed by the Karnataka government.
Earlier in the day, Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Karnataka government, had sought urgent hearing on its plea saying that an 'unusual' order was passed by the High Court.
