DG DISC honours 3 CISF officials for outstanding efforts at Kozhikode airport

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Saturday announced to reward its three personnel with the Director General (DG) DISC for showing prompt and outstanding efforts in saving precious human lives on Friday, when an Air India Express crashed at Kozhikode airport.
CISF DG Rajesh Ranjan appreciated the prompt and outstanding efforts of the CISF officers and personnel in saving the precious human lives and they would be awarded with the DG's commendation DISC, an official statement said here.
These officers include Deputy Commandant and Chief Airport Security Officer (CASO) Kishore Kumar AV, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ajit Singh and Assistant Sub-Inspector Mangal Singh, who will be felicitated, in recognition of their outstanding efforts during the rescue operations at Kozhikode, it added.

NCRTC launches campaign to encourage voting for LS polls

New Delhi, April 25 (UNI) In a bid to encourage passengers to exercise their democratic right to vote in the parliamentary elections, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Thursday launched a campaign for the second phase of Lok Sabha polls, scheduled to be held on April 26.
